Edge grain; Ambrosia Maple, Black Walnut stripe in the center with Padauk accent stripes. The thing is, Ambrosia can look nearly clear or heavily "marker" with dark accents.  When I go to the mill, you get to pick what you think is the most interesting for what you have planned.  1.5 inches thick this is a great size and unusual look.  Personally, I love Ambrosia Maple, as you cut into it it can change how it looks in almost a 3D way.  No two pieces are ever the same, I almost always work with a single board to keep the look consistant.
